Kasol is also popular for its culture and the harmony around here. Kasol is very popular for its hippie culture. Also, on spiritual terms, there is a famous Gurudwara Shri Manikaran Sahib, usually recognized for its hot water spring, just near Kasol. You will also see Lord Shiva followers in the mountains and valleys. Close by Parvati valley and Shiva temple attract the followers and tourists.

Monsoon in the Kasol is just a pleasure. You will find a wonderful view, with lush greenery covering the valleys along the Parvati river. The weather is enjoyable for the whole year. It’s just that the temperature in the winters may reach 0 to -1 degrees.

Best Time To Visit Kasol

If you visit kasol for the first time, then the best time to visit is from March to June. While Summers, the temperature will be about 14 to 16 degrees, you can chill nearby and trek. This is one of the purposes, why most of the Indians choose summer to visit Kasol. Kasol is packed with tourists during the summer. 

If you want less congested and less commercial activity, then visit during the post-monsoon period, i.e September to November. There will be dense greenery and a cold climate.

How To Reach Kasol?

There are many different ways to reach Kasol, you can choose anyone at your convenience, 

  1. Airway: Bhuntar is the nearest airport, which is 32 KM away. But be knowledgeable that there are limited flights to Bhuntar. Otherwise, the other airport is Chandigarh airport, which is 295KM away. If you are opting for this route, you can hire a taxi from Bhuntar airport, and you will reach Kasol within an hour. 
  2. Railway: The closest railway station is Joginder Nagar railway station, which is 144 KM away from Kasol. The train takes almost 4-5 hours to reach Kasol. You can hire a cab after reaching the railway station. You can also, take an early morning Shatabdi Express from Delhi to Chandigarh and arrive there before 11 AM. After arriving in Chandigarh, you can hire a taxi or cab to reach Kasol. 
  3. Roadway: The best and convenient way for a Kasol trip is by Road. The distance from Delhi to Kasol is almost 560KM. The journey for kasol takes 11 to 12 hours. You will find astonishing “Dhabas” on the Delhi-Chandigarh highway one of them is in Murthal “Sukhdev Dhaba”. Once you left Chandigarh, you will see the greenery land and the hills will follow you all along, and with the music, your traveling will become really great. The condition of the road is also really good. So, don’t worry about it.

Day 3: Kasol – Explore and chill around 

Day 4: Plan to visit Tosh Village or Chalal Village or Pulga. 

Day 5: Return back from Kasol to Delhi by Volvo.

1.Kheerganga Trek:

  5. In Winters, the path is covered with dense snow and you may not able to travel and it is suggested to avoid trekking in winter.
